There are times when you will be struggling, browsing and navigating through your Gmail app just because you are looking for one very important message in your Email box, but despite your effort it seems like you couldn’t find it. Have you tried so hard to find so hard to find that one important message in the Gmail app and yet couldn’t get to figure out where to find it? Or probably, it had taken you minutes of navigating through your email app before you were able to find it? Maybe before you found it, the time you needed it might have passed or you are already tired and gotten fed up of the whole drama of not finding such email.
Well, Google has introduced a technique which can reduce that stress by providing an option to disable Conversation View in the mobile (Android & iOS apps) or website version of Gmail.
If you have already toggled off the option on the desktop version of the app, the setting should also appear on the mobile Gmail app.
How To Disable Conversation View In Your Gmail Mobile App
Follow the steps below to disable conversation view in the Gmail mobile app
- Launch your Gmail app.
- In the top right, click Settings.
- Scroll down to the Conversation View section.
- Select “Conversation view on” (messages will be grouped) or “Conversation view off” (messages won’t be grouped).
- Then, at the bottom of the page, click “Save Changes”.
Its either you decide to view Gmail in conversation view which is more organized or you view it in a continuous, consecutive inbox.
